It’s all excitement here at Chia bia HQ as we today receive our Certificate of Registration to I.S EN ISO 9001:2008 for a quality management system.
This is the conclusion to a lot of hard work, particularly over the last few months. Our printer has been on turbo charge here, getting procedures printed out for our Quality Consultant, all in preparation for the ” Big Audit”. Deadlines were tight but the project team, ie Barrie, Kate and Frank made trojan efforts to achieve them. Roles have been defined, procedures put in place and paper trails have been left, in every sense of the word.
We are so pleased today to report that all these efforts now mean that Chia bia is identified as operating a quality management system for the importing, processing, storing and distribution of Chia seed and Chia products. Another accolade for our now, rather cluttered wall…:)
