Coeliac Week – Chia Bia Gluten Free Bircher Muesli

As today marks the start of Coeliac Week, we’ve decided to share our recipe for delicious gluten free Bircher Muesli. This is the perfect kick- start to your day, high in omega 3 and fibre, 10g of protein and no refined sugar.  Perfect for a long lazy breakfast or  if time is not on your side, grab your spoon and eat it on the run!

Ingredients :
30g Gluten Free Pure Oats
1 tbsp Chia, Apple & Cinnamon
110g Natural Yoghurt
95ml Apple Juice

Topping:
1/2 Apple
1 tbsp Coconut Oil

Method:

  1. Mix the oats, apple juice and the natural yoghurt in a bowl and stir well. Pop into the fridge to soak overnight.
  2. For the topping (which can also be made the night before) peel and core the apple, and slice into rings. Light fry in coconut oil, leaving a little bite in the apple.
  3. Top the Bircher with the apple slices
