Chia Bia at the Iverk Show
Last Saturday Debbie and I packed up the Chia Bia wheels and headed up the road to Piltown in Kilkenny for Ireland’s Oldest Agricultural Show – the Iverk Show. We used the opportunity to chat to people about how easy it is to get the nutritious benefits of Chia Bia into your diet – and demonstrated this by giving tasters of our delicious brown bread and jam, as well as overnight oats. I think I can safely say, we rounded up a few new fans! 🙂
NoirÃn’s Chia Compote was a huge success and we were asked by many people for the recipe – this is a sugar free jam, using chia to set it, you are left with a fresh & fruity tasting jam, which goes perfectly with our Chia Bia Hi-Fibre Soda Bread. So as promised – here is the recipe for the easiest jam you’ll ever make!
Chia Summer Fruit Compote
This compote is a healthy alternative to traditional compotes. Chia seeds act a thickener, removing the need for jam sugar.
