Chia Seeds – your survival kit for Triathlon Season!

It’s triathlon season again – and as well as packing your wetsuit, your runners and your bicycle pump, you should make sure that chia seeds are part of your survival kit! Chia seeds are the perfect partner for any triathlon participant, as their hydrophilic properties will help to keep you hydrated for longer, perfect for those long energetic swims, cycles and runs!

Chia bia recently sponsored the Hook or by Crook Triathlon which took place on June 21st. Over 400 participants enjoyed this fantastic course, and they were delighted to receive Chia crunch biscuits as a sweet, tasty, gluten, wheat and dairy free snack in their goodie bags after the race. We also supplied 2 hampers full of Chia bia products, including our fantastic original whole chia seeds, milled chia seeds, chia seed shots, and chia seeds with blueberry, and cranberry, as well as out nutritional bars, and of course a selection of Chia crunch biscuits.


The event was well supported and very well run – huge congrats to all involved, can’t wait to see you next year!
