Berry Baked Oats | Vegan Breakfast Recipe

These Berry Baked Oats make the perfect breakfast now the weather is getting colder.

They are basically dessert for breakfast while packing in plenty of fibre and healthy fats from Chia Bia Whole Chia Seed. Top with your favourite toppings, we went with peanut butter and maple syrup, delicious!

Ingredients:

1/2 a large, ripe banana
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 tbsp Chia Bia Whole Chia
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Pinch salt
1-2 tsp maple syrup (optional)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup milk of choice
Add ins: handful blueberries and raspberries
Toppings: nut butter, maple syrup, yoghurt, chopped nuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 185C and grease an oven-proof bowl with a little oil.
  2. Mash the banana, then mix in the rest of the ingredients before stirring in the blueberries and raspberries.
  3. Place in the oven to bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Top with your favourite toppings and enjoy!
